There are many ways in which an effective HR department uses feedback to improve the lives of its organization’s employees. Employee engagement surveys are a key example, and when these are combined with strategic programs to understand the factors underlying employee acquisition, retention and attrition, the results can be compelling.
However, there are also situations where a long-term strategic approach is neither necessary nor desirable. Sometimes, a very quick turnaround on a one-off project is needed to enable quick decisions.
